Gilbert and Dorothy Krause, descendants of the early German settlers who came to Giddings in the late 1800's, founded Kaemark Salon Furnishings in their garage in 1972. In 2000, Kaemark was purchased by Howard and Karen Owen. Today Jeff Owen and Ben Peterson are partners with the Owens, manufacturing and selling Kaemark custom salons nationally through only America's finest professional beauty distributors. As a result of the average tenure of a Kaemark custom cabinet and seating artisan being 20+ years, Kaemark is the largest beauty equipment manufacturer serving each of our nationally recognized beauty distributors.
